FRANKFURT (Reuters) -- Audi's global deliveries rose 11 percent in October to 146,200 vehicles, thanks to a double-digit percentage rise in sales in China, the United States and the United Kingdom.
Demand for the Q5 midsize SUV and the A3 compact helped push sales, Audi said in a statement today.
Deliveries rose in all major regions last month, including by 17 percent in China and 17 percent in the United States. Sales in Europe rose 5 percent, as a 22 percent gain in the United Kingdom offset a 16 percent slump in Russia.
Ten-month sales at the brand rose 10 percent to 1.44 million.
