LONDON -- Jaguar's latest teaser picture of its new F-Pace shows that the SUV/crossover has stayed faithful to the C-X17 concept.
THE F-Pace; Jaguar's first SUV, was previewed by the C-X17 at the 2013 Frankfurt auto show, and the production version keeps the concept’s proportions including the short front overhangs.
The F-Pace will the third car to be built from Jaguar Land Rover’s new lightweight aluminum architecture following the XE and XF sedans. The F-Pace will be built alongside the XE at JLR’s Solihull plant in central England.
Jaguar describes the new model as a performance crossover and has promised class-leading driving dynamics. The F-pace is expected to use the same engines as the XE and XF, including JLR’s new four-cylinder diesel Ingenium units.
