FRANKFURT -- General Motors veteran Rory Harvey has been appointed head of the Vauxhall brand in the UK.
Harvey, 47, succeeds Tim Tozer, who is leaving the company, GM says.
UK-born Harvey, who holds a degree in mechanical engineering, joined General Motors in 1989 and has held a number of roles in sales and aftersales. Most recently, he was executive director of sales at Vauxhall sister brand Opel, based at the automaker's headquarters in Ruesselshiem, Germany.
Harvey will report to Peter Kuespert, vice president of sales and aftersales at Opel Group.
