Skoda signaled it will expand its SUV offerings with a new model that will rival vehicles such as the Hyundai Santa Fe and Kia Sorento.
Volkswagen Group's Czech brand today released sketches of the VisionS concept that will debut at the Geneva auto show next month.
The seven-seat concept shows how the brand's second SUV that would sit above the Yeti could look, Skoda said in a statement.
The concept's large interior with three rows of seats offers a generous space for six occupants, Skoda said. It is 4700mm long, 1910mm wide and 1680mm tall.
Skoda did not release any technical details of the SUV. Reports in the motoring press have said it likely will debut the brand's first head-up display and possibly a diesel hybrid powertrain. It will offer front-wheel and all-wheel-drive, the reports said.
