STOCKHOLM -- Volvo Cars said global sales of its models grew 9.3 percent to 41,681 in July, marking the 14th straight month of year-on-year growth for the automaker.
Strong demand for the new XC90 boosted volumes, Volvo said in a statement on Tuesday.
The Sweden-based carmaker said it grew sales in all major regions, especially in the U.S. market where sales surged 52 percent to 8,556. Sales in China increased 5.8 percent to 6,171. European volume was flat at 20,502.
