GENEVA -- For some reason, the lights always seem brighter at the Geneva auto show.
So much luminosity poured down on the Volkswagen Arteon from the Palexpo's high ceilings that you could hardly make out the contours of the car. You had to squint.
Some people are perfect in this kind of spotlight. The real stars just seem to shine brighter.
Like the Giugiaros.
Indeed, it would not be a Geneva Motor show without Giorgetto and Fabrizio Giugiaro up on a small stand, surrounded by hordes of onlookers and admirers, bathed in brilliant light, joyfully pointing out details of their latest concept, all the while greeting friends and smiling, always smiling.
