Spy photographers have caught a Volkswagen T-Roc as it was being loaded onto a truck, showing the styling direction VW will take for its smaller crossovers.
The T-Roc concept was introduced at the Geneva auto show in March.
Built on the automaker’s ultra-flexible MQB platform, the T-Roc features a high roofline and more aggressively slanted rear hatch than the VW Tiguan, with more pronounced chrome accents all the way around.
The T-Roc’s fascia also adopts more modern styling, with trapezoidal chrome trim and a single horizontal trim line splitting the grille. Designers are also switching to LED lighting elements front and rear.
The T-Roc will be unveiled in the summer and wlll go on sale in Europe in the autumn. It will head to U.S. dealers next year.
