CAREER HIGHLIGHTS Coursimault started his Renault career as a marketing analyst in 1994. Following posts as a dealer network manager and a senior product manager, he became Renault Turkey marketing manager in 2007. He moved to Renault Belgium Luxembourg in 2010 and was promoted to operations manager in 2013. He started his current post in 2015.
REASON FOR WINNING Renault’s low-cost Global Access range, which includes the Dacia brand, has become a pillar of CEO Carlos Ghosn’s Drive the Future strategic plan. Sales are expected to grow to 2 million in 2022 from 1.2 million cars last year. In the first half of 2018, Coursimault helped Dacia increase its European sales by 16 percent, capping more than a decade of strong growth for the Romanian brand under Renault’s stewardship.
