The MC20 Cielo ("sky" in Italian) weighs 65 kg more than the coupe version, but has nearly identical performance.
The Maserati MC20 Cielo has a retractable glass roof that takes 12 seconds to open or close. The roadster uses the same 3.0-liter V-6 Nettuno engine as the MC20 coupe with 621 hp and 730 newton meters (538 pound feet) of torque. The engine is coupled with an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission driving the rear wheels.
