The Smart #1, a small electric crossover developed in Europe but produced in China, is the first model from the reinvented city-car maker, now a 50-50 joint venture between Geely and Mercedes.
Smart's first new car under joint Mercedes-Geely ownership, the full-electric #1, is a small Chinese-built crossover with a range of 440 km (270 miles) and the ability to recharge from 10 to 80 percent in less than 30 minutes.
