TURIN -- Italian designers Giorgetto and Fabrizio Giugiaro have styled a car that shows their vision of a performance grand tourer that could be driven in the desert.
The father and son team, who run Turin-based GFG Style, will debut the concept car at the Geneva auto show on March 3, along with a sports car concept.
The Giugiaros released a teaser image of the desert grand tourer but no further details ahead of its Geneva debut.
The concept looks like an evolution of the Vision 2030, an all-terrain, two-seat electric hypercar with four-wheel drive that GFG Style designed for roads in Saudi Arabia. The Vision 2030 was unveiled at Riyadh auto show in November.
The Geneva-bound concept is expected to be designed more for off-road driving as a grand tourer for the desert.
Both Vision 2030 models are evolutions of the Kangaroo, a concept for a full-electric two-seat hypercar with four-wheel drive and four-wheel steering that was unveiled at the 2019 Geneva show.
