U.S electric vehicle start-up Fisker has promoted former Aston Martin engineer David King to the position of chief technology officer.
King replaces Burkhard Huhnke, who has left the company, Fisker said in a statement.
Prior to his promotion, King was head of body engineering for Fisker and oversaw the company’s Ocean program at the Magna Steyr contract manufacturing plant in Austria.
King was also in charge of Fisker’s U.K.-based Magic Works special vehicle division, which has been working on the planned Ronin convertible sports car, among other projects.
