Ineos Automotive has tweaked the roles for a pair of executives and has given one a larger emphasis on North America, which is the biggest global market for the young brand's rugged Grenadier SUV.
Ineos said George Ratcliffe is now president of the Americas region. Ratcliffe will be responsible for all regional activity, which includes the United States, Canada and Mexico, and will focus on expanding the dealership network and growing the brand.
Ratcliffe, who had been the brand's commercial director, is the son of Ineos Group Chairman Jim Ratcliffe.
Mike Whittington will be the automaker's chief commercial officer. Whittington joined Ineos in May as senior vice president of global sales and after-sales. Whittington previously worked at Polestar, JLR, Peugeot, Mercedes-Benz and Toyota.
"As our business expands, it's imperative the leadership team evolves to reflect growing priorities," Ineos Automotive CEO Lynn Calder said in a statement. "George's move to the U.S. reflects the importance of North America, following our successful launch there over the past 18 months. And Mike has had an immediate and positive impact since joining us in May."
