Opel/Vauxhall's new head of sales and marketing is Stephen Norman.
Norman, who has worked for Renault, Fiat and Volkswagen during his career, will take on the role on Feb.1, Opel said in a statement.
Norman, 66, started his career with the Rover Group in 1976, rising to marketing director for the UK automaker.
At Renault, Norman was an ally of Carlos Tavares. Both executives switched to PSA where Tavares became CEO and Norman was appointed chief marketing officer.
Tavares named Norman to head Vauxhall in February 2018, six months after its acquisition by PSA. Paul Willcox will take over Norman's position as managing director of Vauxhall.
At Opel, Norman will succeed Xavier Duchemin, who will be given other responsibilities within Stellantis.
Both Opel and Vauxhall are part of Stellantis, the company formed from the merger of PSA and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles. Tavares is Stellantis CEO.
