Piech, Porsche families say they are united behind VW management

FRANKFURT -- The Piech and Porsche families, which control more than 52 percent of Volkswagen Group, have vowed to back senior management, setting aside past disputes as the automaker struggles to overcome its emissions-cheating scandal, Der Spiegel reported.
