The 2023 Automotive News Europe Eurostar award winners are leading executives recognized for their excellence in a challenging yet exciting year for the automotive industry.

  • Renault Group CEO Luca de Meo led the automaker's turnaround after record losses and is radically rethinking the group’s structure for an electric, connected era.
  • Wayne Griffiths, the CEO of VW’s Spanish brands, Seat and Cupra, has helped to guide upstart Cupra to record sales just a few years after it debuted.
  • Martin Sander is leading Ford’s EV offensive as head of the automaker’s Model E program in Europe.
  • Markus Schaefer, the CTO of Mercedes-Benz, is redefining the user experience with the premium brand’s MBUX infotainment system.
