Audi has increase the range of its full-electric e-tron models by nearly 9 percent by making four crucial engineering upgrades.
The tweaks extend the fully charged range of the e-tron 55 quattro to 436 km and the e-tron Sportback 55 quattro to 446 km from 411 km based on the WLTP fuel-use standard, according to a report led by Audi engineer Joachim Doerr and presented at the annual Vienna Motor Symposium.
The e-tron Sportback outdistanced its sibling model by 10 km because it is more aerodynamic, resulting in a better drag coefficient, according to the report.
