But the 911 remains the bedrock of Porsche’s range, and by some measures, it is the most profitable car in the world. Future 911s will likely have some degree of electrification, and Porsche will have to convince its loyal fans to come along.
Frenkel, who studied chemistry and rubber technology, has been with Porsche for nearly two decades. She has held management positions in quality, global training and sales. Before joining Porsche she worked at the suppliers Helsa Werke, Valeo and TRW Automotive.
