CAREER HIGHLIGHTS: Seeger has spent all her working life at Daimler since joining the automaker's sales organization in Stuttgart in 1989. She rose through the ranks to become head of Daimler's car and truck sales in South Korea and then led Mercedes-Benz sales in Turkey. In January, Seeger joined Daimler's management board as head of sales and marketing for the Mercedes cars division.

REASON FOR WINNING: Under Seeger, Mercedes is continuing to harness its strong product momentum and this year will likely be the world's top-selling premium brand, a title it won back from BMW in 2016. Mercedes is benefiting from a successful expansion of its compact vehicle lineup, which is bringing in younger buyers.
