CAREER HIGHLIGHTS After earning an MBA in finance and accounting, Delbos started her career as an auditor at King Bearings in California before joining Price Waterhouse in Paris. Delbos then joined the Pechiney Group in 1992, where she held various positions in France and Belgium before becoming a division financial director. After the acquisition of Pechiney by Alcan, she became a division vice president in 2005. In 2011, the company became Constellium, and Delbos served as deputy CFO and chief risk officer. She joined Renault in 2012 as group controller and senior vice president, and in 2014 she became alliance global director, control. In 2016, Delbos was appointed executive vice president, CFO of Renault Group. She is a member of the Renault Executive Committee and is also chairman of the board of RCI Banque.
REASON FOR WINNING Renault Group continues to post record results, reaching an operating margin of 6.4 percent during the first half on revenues of nearly 30 billion euros. This came despite headwinds such as volatile currencies in emerging markets, where Renault is doing half of its business. Other highlights include the consolidation of Renault subsidiary AvtoVAZ and the fast recovery of the company, a strong growth in sales financing business with RCI Banque and the rollout of an ambitious transformation plan called Engage for the modernization of the finance function in Renault. Delbos has also been honored in 2018 by the Investor Relations Ranking Extel as “best CFO in the automotive sector.”
