    Nio says its ET7 flagship electric sedan will be the first model it offers in Germany. Deliveries of the car will start in the final quarter of 2022.

    The Nio ET7 is 5098 mm long, 1978 mm wide and has a 3060 mm wheelbase, resulting in class-leading interior space, design boss Kris Tomasson said.

    The Nio ET7 has 33 high-performance sensing units that include an ultra-long-range high-resolution lidar, 11 high-resolution cameras, five radars and 12 ultrasonic sensors.

    Nio says the ET7 is the first production vehicle to feature karuun, which is renewable rattan that comes from tropical rain forests. The karuun, which is used in 14 areas of the car, is white with strips of black.

    Nio VP of Design Kris Tomasson says karuun is a sustainable, plastic-free material that both durable and lightweight.

    The Nio ET7 has a 12.8-inch floating center display. The sedan also has invisible air vents in the front and rear as all as fragrance and air quality systems.
