Renault Rafale
The Renault Rafale coupe-styled midsize crossover is underpinned by the Renault-Nissan CMF-CD platform that is shared with the Austral compact SUV and Espace midsize SUV.
The Rafale has protruding shoulders around the rear wheels, hinting at the power propelling the car.
The Rafale uses Renault's R-Link cockpit layout, with a horizontal information screen in front of the driver and a deep vertical touch screen in an L-shaped arrangement. Google Automotive powers the infotainment system.
The Rafale has a long horizontal hood, sculpted front bumper and a slightly raised fastback body. It's the first Renault to use the visual language of design chief Gilles Vidal, former head of Peugeot design.
