Volkswagen Group's Seat brand has appointed Jason Lusty, Audi's marketing boss in Germany, as head of global marketing.
Lusty will take up the post on July 1, Seat said in a statement. He replaces Susanne Franz, who is taking over as Audi's chief of brand communication and content marketing.
British-born Lusty joined Audi in 2015. He was responsible for managing the launch of the Audi e-tron in Germany.
Lusty began his career in 1997 at advertising agencies including Saatchi & Saatchi and DDB in Germany and the UK, where he managed the advertising accounts of Audi and Volkswagen as well as other global consumer brands.
One of Lusty's key tasks will be to strengthen and establish Seat's Cupra performance lineup as a stand-alone brand.
