Factory stoppages and model prioritization linked to the chip shortage have shuffled Europe's sales rankings. The Peugeot 2008 ranked No. 1, followed by three other French models: The Renault Clio, the Dacia Sandero and the Peugeot 208.
VW Group's 42 percent slide in deliveries in October meant that it was overtaken as Europe's top-selling automaker by Stellantis. Hyundai, Kia and Porsche had sales increases despite the overall market decline.
