Magna Car Top Systems adds Mexico plant

The acquisition of a plant in Mexico, gives Magna Car Top Systems the roof contracts for the Opel GT’s sister models, the Saturn Sky (shown) and Pontiac Solstice. Magna already makes the GT’s roof system.

Auto parts supplier Magna International has strengthed its formidable convertible-top business by acquiring an operation in Mexico from a former rival.
