Tata's Infiniti unit in India deals in kitchen appliances, not cars. Still, Nissan's lawyers are conferring.

When Tata says it will invest $45 million in Infiniti Retail in India, it gets an auto journalist's attention. Especially since the Indian conglomerate owns Jaguar and Land Rover, while Infiniti, Nissan's luxury brand, doesn't sell cars in India.
