BERLIN -- Daniela Gerd tom Markotten, the head of BMW and Daimler's ReachNow joint mobility services unit, has resigned, Manager Magazin reported on Thursday.

Gerd tom Markotten deemed investment volumes in the business insufficient, the report said, citing company sources.

ReachNow offers users the ability to book and pay for public transport and other mobility services, such as car-sharing, ride-hailing and cycle rentals, through a single platform.
