Nissan investigates claims CEO put COO Gupta under surveillance

TOKYO -- Nissan has started an investigation into claims by a senior adviser that CEO Makoto Uchida carried out surveillance of his deputy Ashwani Gupta, four people with direct knowledge of the matter said.
