Renault's Q3 revenues rose 21% as focus on compact cars pays off

PARIS -- Renault's sales rose to 9.8 billion euros ($9.57 billion) in the third quarter as its focus on more profitable cars allowed the automaker to more than offset a fall in the number of cars sold in the same quarter last year.
