Automakers offer £2 billion in EV discounts to boost U.K. zero-emission sales

Automakers are on course to offer at least £2 billion ($2.6 billion) in electric-vehicle discounts this year and still fall short of the U.K. government's sales mandate, according to the SMMT, the industry's trade body.
