Curic: Stellantis' software push
Stellantis hired Ned Curic, a former Toyota, Amazon and Microsoft executive, to oversee its plan to generate 20 billion euros in software-related revenue by 2030, from services and subscriptions, features on demand, and data and fleet services. To get there, the automaker is creating three tech platforms: Brain, SmartCockpit and AutoDrive, with partners including Amazon, Waymo, BMW and Foxconn.
The automaker has already formed its own software organization, and is opening new technical centers in India and Eastern Europe to complement existing ones in France, Detroit and Italy.
Hear about Stellantis' plans for software-defined vehicles from Curic, the automaker's chief Ttechnology officer, at the year's Automotive News Europe Congress.
