Stellantis has named Frederic Brunet, currently chief financial officer at Opel/Vauxhall, as CFO for its expanded Europe region.
Brunet will be succeeded at Opel/Vauxhall by Georg Magel, who is now director of financial planning and analysis for the two Stellantis brands.
Brunet started his automotive career in 2004 at PSA Group, where he held a number of positions in finance, including CFO for Latin America and head of investor relations. He was named group controller in 2017 and CFO at Opel/Vauxhall in 2018, replacing Philippe de Rovira, who went on to become CFO at PSA Group.
At Stellantis, he will oversee a region that includes Europe and Eurasia, and report to regional chief Maxime Picat.
