Continental adds 'shy tech' screens, audio to save space, reduce visual clutter

Continental Shy Tech display 2021 — A rendering of Continental's ShyTech display, in which a semi-transparent surface material can be made to resemble wood grain, carbon fiber or even leather. Screens and controls can be called up as needed to reduce visual clutter.

FRANKFURT -- For years, automakers and suppliers have proudly showed off the latest interiors technology in the form of more and bigger screens or multi-speaker audio systems.
