Slovakia's InoBat eyes electric car battery plant in Spain

MADRID -- Slovakian battery manufacturer InoBat has signed a declaration of intent with the Spanish government to set up an electric vehicle battery factory in the city of Valladolid in central Spain.

The automaker did not break out the amount to be invested in each plant, but said June 10 the dollars will go to Orion Assembly in Michigan, Fairfax Assembly in Kansas and Spring Hill Manufacturing in Tennessee.
