The Logan MCV station wagon from Renault subsidiary Dacia comes with up to four airbags. The two standard front airbags supplied by TRW Automotive have a module that controls cushion pressure to restrict the force exerted on occupants if there is an accident.
Another safety feature the MCV offers is the latest generation of Robert Bosch’s ABS that includes Electronic Brakeforce Distribution. EBD distributes brake torque between the axles to ensure top braking regardless of vehicle load.
PPG Industries supplies a lead-free, corrosion resistant electrocoat for the Logan MCV.
The low-cost car starts at €8,900 in France. It is built in Pitesti, Romania.
