German consumer group files class action suit on behalf of VW owners

FRANKFURT -- German consumer group vzbv has filed a lawsuit against Volkswagen Group on behalf of VW owners. The action over diesel-emissions cheating uses new class-action rules which came into force on Thursday, potentially making it easier to win damages from companies.
