Peugeot's 2021 sales up 5% worldwide on gains outside of Europe

Sales of the Peugeot 2008 small SUV were up 28 percent to 247,600. It was the brand's No. 2 seller after the 208 small car, which recorded 270,700 sales.

PARIS -- Peugeot's global sales increased by 5 percent in 2021 to 1.21 million, the Stellantis brand said, driven by strong gains outside of Europe, its biggest market, where sales grew only slightly.
