Plug-in hybrid demand in Europe outpaces BEV sales growth, ACEA data shows

Volvo XC60 PHEV 2024 — The Volvo XC60 was the best-selling plug-in hybrid in Europe in February, with nearly 4,300 sales, according to figures from Dataforce. Sales of all plug-in hybrid models were up 12 percent for the month, ACEA said.

Sales of plug-in hybrid models grew faster than those of battery-electric vehicles in Europe in February, reversing a long trend.
