Silk-FAW to build sports-car plant in Italy

The S9 was unveiled at the Shanghai auto show with red bodywork -- the color of FAW's Hongqi brand and Italian racecars.

MILAN -- Silk-FAW, a venture between Chinese automaker FAW and U.S.-based engineering and design firm Silk EV, has picked Reggio Emilia, in Italy's "Motor Valley," to build its electric and hybrid luxury sports cars.
