BERLIN -- Environmental authorities in the German state of Brandenburg, where Tesla has its gigafactory, have approved the automaker's application to expand its Gruenheide plant, another hurdle cleared in the automaker's growth plans.
BERLIN -- Environmental authorities in the German state of Brandenburg, where Tesla has its gigafactory, have approved the automaker's application to expand its Gruenheide plant, another hurdle cleared in the automaker's growth plans.
The automaker did not break out the amount to be invested in each plant, but said June 10 the dollars will go to Orion Assembly in Michigan, Fairfax Assembly in Kansas and Spring Hill Manufacturing in Tennessee.
