VW Golf gets digital upgrades, drops manual gearbox in GTI version

LAS VEGAS --The heavily revised version of the Volkswagen Golf will address criticisms that customers have levelled at the interior of the current, eighth-generation model.
VW has fixed fix problematic digital issues as part of changes for the updated Golf, VW brand's technical development boss Kai Gruenitz said.
