AUTOMOTIVE NEWS EUROPE PODCAST: April 22, 2021 | How battery startup InoBat aims to stand out from rivals
InoBat Auto -- a Slovakia-based cell maker that was formed in 2019 -- anticipates that the installed demand for battery plants in Europe will be 550 to 600 gigawatt hours by 2030, leaving a shortfall in installed capacity of up to 150 gigawatt hours by then. With that much of a gap to close, InoBat Head of Business Development Jonathan Carrier says there is plenty of space for new players to establish themselves.
