Peugeot 3008, 5008 to get 48-volt mild hybrids

Peugeot 3008 mild hybrid 2023 — The mild hybrd system will debut on the 3008 compact SUV (shown) and 5008 midsize SUV in the coming months. It will reduce emissions by about 20 grams of CO2 per km on the 3008 compared with the current 130-hp gasoline-only engine.

PARIS -- A new 48-volt mild hybrid system from Stellantis will debut on the Peugeot 3008 and 5008 SUVs in the second quarter, with CO2 emission reductions of up to 15 percent.
