China new-vehicle sales extend gains into May behind incentives

Demand for new sedans, crossovers, SUVs and multipurpose vehicles in China remained strong in the first 25 days of May, with retail sales jumping 16 percent year on year to 1.36 million during the period, the China Passenger Car Association said.
