On June 11-12, the 2025 Automotive News Europe Congress will host a series of top-level presentations, speakers and panel discussions on the theme of Driving the Future: AI-Powered Innovation, Global Trade & Tariff Dynamics, and EU Emission Regulation Challenges. Speakers will include experts and executives from Hyundai, Renault, Smart, Stellantis, Toyota and others. Join us in Turin to be part of the discussion about the issues driving the industry during this transformative time.

Electrification: Not an easy journey

The European Union and U.K. have mandated that only zero-emissions cars can be sold after 2035, a goal that only a few years ago seemed achievable. But since then, a pandemic, war in Ukraine, inflation, tariffs and other issues have thrown that deadline into uncertainty.

“A Bumpy Road to Electrification,” a panel discussion at at the 2025 Automotive News Europe Congress in Turin, will explore the state of the transition. Hear from Marc Odinius, CEO of data provider Dataforce; Mike Hawes, CEO of the British auto lobbying group SMMT; Andy Palmer, chairman of InoBat and a longtime European auto executive; and Dirk Adelmann, the CEO of Smart Europe.
