Long-time Volvo executive Nicolas Lopez Appelgren will be the new international boss of Geely's Lynk & Co brand after Alain Visser stepped down.
Visser was instrumental in setting up Lynk & Co, which has grown its sales in Europe using a subscription model.
Visser joined Geely Auto Group in 2015 and became CEO of Lynk & Co International in 2017. He started his automotive career as a sales analyst at Ford Belgium in 1987.
In 2004, he moved to Opel where he rose to head of sales and marketing. He joined Geely-owned Volvo in 2012.
Visser will leave Geely Auto Group and Appelgren will take over his role on Jan. 8, Lynk & Co said in a statement.
