French sales fall 31% in October as chip shortage continues

Peugeot 2008 2021 — The Peugeot 2008 was the best-selling SUV in France through October, with 61,730 sales, placing it fourth overall after the Peugeot 208, the Renault Clio and the Dacia Sandero.

PARIS -- French new-car registrations fell by 31 percent in October as the semiconductor shortage continued to cripple production across Europe and the world.
