With bid for Vitesco, Schaeffler confronts EV transition

The proposed merger of Vitesco and Schaeffler, if it is completed as expected, will create a new EV-focused megasupplier to rival ZF, Valeo, Robert Bosch and BorgWarner, with an order book of about 40 billion euros.
