MITSUBISHI MGX NAMED SPACE STAR

BORN, Netherlands - The second Mitsubishi model to be produced at the NedCar joint venture with Volvo will be a five-door monospace previously code-named MGX. The minivan will be marketed as the Mitsubishi Space Star. Production li nes were tested in Japan before being dismantled and shipped to the Netherlands. The Space Star will go into pilot production in September 1998 and will arrive in European markets starting in December 1998. Volume is planned at 100 ,000. The car will be exported to Japan.
