B.Engineering is a new automotive consulting company and the Edonis is intended as a showcase for its engineering capabilities.

B.Engineering is based in Campogalliano, near Modena, Italy, and many of its key people are former Bugatti employees.

President of the company is Jean-Marc Borel, former Bugatti Automobili vice chairman and also a Lotus top executive.

The managing director, Federico Trombi, and the technical director, Nicola Materazzi, are both former Ferrari and Bugatti engineers.

The two-seat, mid-engined Edonis is based on a carbon-fiber chassis and features a hand-made aluminum body. The chassis is said to be derived from the Bugatti EB110 coupe.

The engine is a 3.8-liter V-12 twin turbo capable of 680hp at 8000rpm.

Top speed is estimated at around 365kph, and it is claimed the car can accelerate from 0-100 kph in under four seconds.

A running prototype, the Edonis will be on display at Geneva on the Michelin stand. The car features Michelin's Pax tires that do not require a spare wheel.
